Two of Library Collection Policies have been Updated

In March, two of library collection policies have been updated, and this update already have been submitted and approved on ULAC.

Two Updated Policies:

• Policy on Print Book Collection Development
• Library Policy on Staff Self-Purchase Reimbursement

The Implementation of Library Budget on Collection Acquisition (AY2016-2017)

6,161 titles of western books have been ordered, with a total amount about 6,834 volumes, which takes 50.23% of the total budget for western books.

6,794 titles of Chinese books have been ordered, with a total amount about 12,848 volumes, taking 48.79% of the total budget for Chinese books.

427 volumes of periodicals & newspaper have been ordered, taking 79.17% of the total budget for periodicals & newspaper.

24,665 volumes of e-books have been ordered, taking 74.97% of the total budget for e-books.
