Textbook Division conducted textbook service policy instruction workshop教材部开展教材服务政策工作坊活动
为配合上月生效的教材服务政策，教材部面向全校师生开展了为期三周的教材服务政策工作坊活动。此次活动意在向全校师生梳理并强调我校教材服务相关政策和工作流程。据悉，此次活动向师生澄清了教材服务的性质，流程以及费用等相关政策，并对师生就目前存在的问题进行了答疑。教材部希望就此次活动能让全校师生对教材工作有一定的了解并将严格执行教材政策，以期待为全校师生提供规范化和专业化的教材服务。
In the view of revised textbook service policy, Textbook Division conducted 3-week workshop for textbook policy instruction. The workshop aims to clarify and emphasize textbook service scope and working procedure. In addition, it also conveyed information of textbook service categories and fee issues and made FAQ session for students and staff. From this workshop, Textbook Division would like to make an explanation of textbook request submission and purchase details and procedures；stressed the textbook collection and fee settlement standard. In the near future, Textbook Division will strictly follow the policy to offer professional textbook service.
Textbook Division called for 2017-2018 AY S2 textbook requests submission教材部开始征集2017-2018学年第二学期教材需求
10月23日起，教材部开始向全校征集2017-2018学年第二学期教材需求。根据此前通过的修订版教材政策，此次教材征集各项要求严格遵照教材政策执行，并对教材管理系统做了相应的修改。预计本次教材征集工作将于11月5日结束。
Since Oct. 23rd, Textbook Division called for textbook request collection for 2017-2018 S2. According revised textbook service policy, this round of collection will be strictly abide by the policy and made modification of textbook management system accordingly. It is estimated that the collection work will be finished before Nov. 5th.
Textbook Division completed 2017 Autumn Textbook Fair 教材部开展了2017秋季教材展
教材部开展了一年一度2017秋季教材展。此次教材展为期一周，恰逢教材征集时期，共有八家出版社参加教材展，教材类别涵盖了各院系及教学中心供教师参考选择。今后教材部还将根据教学需求邀请更多出版社参与我校教学建设。
Textbook Division organized 2017 autumn textbook fair. The fair lasted one week when Textbook Division called for textbook request submission. There are 8 overseas publishers to attend the textbook fair, covering all departments and teaching centers for academic staff to choose. In the future, Textbook Division will invite more publishers to collaborate with XJTLU teaching.
Textbook Division finished 2017-2018 AY S1 textbook centralized distribution work教材部完成2017-2018学年第一学期教材集中发放工作
9月2日起，教材部为全校学生提供2017-18学年第一学的教材集中发放服务。此次教材集中发放工作共5天，有超过8000名学生领取了教材，累计发放约7万余册教材，超过270种教材。考虑到学生的到校时间和学习安排，教材部还为学生提供了长期的教材补领，未在集中发放时间领取教材的学生可根据自己的安排前往教材服务中心领取自己的教材。
Since Sept. 2nd, Textbook Division offer 2017-18 S1 centralized textbook distribution service. The service lasted 5 days, with over 8000 students collecting textbooks, distributing more than 70000 copies, 270 categories. Considering some students have various learning schedule, students are allowed to pick up textbooks according to own arrangement.
XJTLU Textbook Policy (Updated Version) has been approved and taken effect on ULAC西交利物浦大学教材政策（更新版）已正式通过并生效
9月27日，西交利物浦大学教材政策（更新版）正式在ULAC会议上通过，并即将生效。此次更新版的政策规范了教师采购教材的需求，提交时间以及采购流程，并进一步强调了学生教材领取的规则和扣费标准。今后教材部将严格执行更新版的教材政策，以期待为全校师生提供规范化和专业化的教材服务。
On Sept. 27th, XTJLU Textbook Policy (Updated Version) has been approved on ULAC and will be taken effect. This version regulated textbook request, submission and purchase details and procedures；stressed the textbook collection and fee settlement standard. In the near future, TPD will strictly follow the policy to offer professional textbook service.
