XJTLU library invited five honoured guests to share their stories and experiences with XJTLUers. Sharing topics includes learning, fitness, entrepreneurship, reading, etc.

In this event, the guests interpreted the knowledge of study, work and life from different perspectives, which stimulated the students' resonance and deep thinking. The library hopes to build a platform for students to listen, share and communicate. And also we expect more and more people to participate in our living library and to start a spiritual journey in the future.

XJTLU Library stocktaking has been successfully completed

In accordance to the XJTLU Fixed Assets Management Policy and to improve our service, a full stocktaking has been successfully completed from 14th June to 5th July, 2022. During the period, the circulation service had been temporarily suspended in order to ensure accuracy of stocktaking data and result. This time, a total of more than 600,000 books were been inventoried and 13 staff involved in the stocktaking and data processing.

The stocktaking is an important tool to accurately grasp the state of the catalogued collections in the library. It will help us to check the quality of the collection, find the suspected lost books in the wrong shelves and facilitate readers to locate and borrow books smoothly.
