"Suzhou AI Industry Patent White Paper" project has passed the Review
《苏州市人工智能产业专利白皮书》成功通过专家组验收评审
The meeting on review on “Suzhou AI Industry Patent White Paper” was held by the Market Regulation Office of Suzhou (Department of Intellectual Property) from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on 10 Nov 2022. The total number of attendees was eight, three of whom were Jun Wang, Yingying Pan and Wenqiang Yin from the XJTLU Intellectual Property Information Service Center (IPISC), three of whom were experienced experts from AI industry, and two of whom were department heads of Market Regulation Office of Suzhou.
During the meeting, Jun Wang provided a detailed presentation of the research findings, which included the background of the project, review of current AI development in the world, analysis of patents based on various applications, data analysis of globally published papers on AI technology, in-depth comparisons between AI policies around the world, horizontal comparisons between AI applications in different districts of Suzhou and suggestions of future development in AI industry.
According to the research result provided, experts highly acknowledged that the research was of vital importance and contained significant research value for AI companies in Suzhou, government policy makers and other AI researchers. After discreet consideration, “Suzhou AI Industry Patent White Paper” was finally announced that it met the requirements of review and was successfully accepted.
2022年11月10日，由苏州市市场监督管理局（苏州市知识产权局）牵头组织并开展的《苏州市人工智能产业专利白皮书》项目验收评审会召开。与会人员为西交利物浦大学知识产权信息服务中心团队、苏州市市场监督管理局相关人员以及三位人工智能产业评审专家。
评审会上，来自西交利物浦大学知识产权信息服务中心的王俊老师详细汇报了项目进展情况，分析并总结了人工智能基础要素和技术体系、人工智能产业专利宏观态势、人工智能芯片、计算机视觉以及智能语音语义三个技术领域专利态势、人工智能技术全球科技论文发表趋势、苏州市人工智能产业发展情况、全球人工智能产业先进地区对标分析以及苏州市人工智能产业未来发展政策建议等内容。
经汇报，苏州市市场监督管理局（苏州市知识产权局）与三位评审专家高度肯定了西交利物浦大学知识产权信息服务中心对该项目的完成情况，并表示该白皮书数据详实、逻辑清晰、统计评价维度丰富、图表可视化呈现效果佳，充分认可其在市场上的稀缺性与重要性。经过全面审慎评议，评审组一致认为该份人工智能产业专利白皮书超出预期，全员同意验收通过，并针对未来研究方向给予了宝贵建议。
本次评审是对苏州市人工智能产业专利白皮书第一阶段的肯定，接下来，西交利物浦大学知识产权信息服务中心将继续围绕苏州市人工智能专利开展深度研究，并对苏州市人工智能产业链情况进行深入挖掘，从而为苏州市人工智能产业的健康、良性与可持续发展提供研究支撑。
Expert Validation Meeting of "Patent Research Report on Artificial Intelligence Industry in Suzhou" was Successfully Held
《苏州市人工智能产业专利白皮书》项目专家论证会成功召开
On July 1, 2022, the expert validation meeting of the project "Patent Research Report on Artificial Intelligence Industry in Suzhou" was held in the library of XJTLU.
The project was mainly undertaken by the Intellectual Property Information Service Center（IPISC）of XJTLU Library. The members of IPISC spent half a year, from the perspectives of patents, papers, policies, etc., respectively interpreting the development status of the artificial intelligence industry in the world, China, and Suzhou, and put forward corresponding industrial development suggestions.
The expert group of the demonstration meeting is composed of artificial intelligence enterprise executives and experts in the field of intellectual property. Dr. Xin Bi, Director of Centre for Knowledge and Information, Centre for Knowledge and Information; Ms. Liping Yang, Deputy University Librarian, and members of the IPISC attended the meeting.
The expert group fully affirmed IPISC's efforts and achievements in the "Patent Research Report" project, and gave guidance for future research directions.
2022年7月1日上午，《苏州市人工智能产业专利白皮书》项目专家论证会在西交利物浦大学召开。
该项目由西浦知识产权信息服务中心（图书馆）主要负责，历时半年时间，从专利、论文、政策等角度，分别解读了全球、中国、苏州市人工智能产业的发展现状，并提出了相应的产业发展建议。
论证会专家组由人工智能企业高管、知识产权领域专家等组成，图书馆馆长毕新、副馆长杨丽萍以及项目组成员出席。
专家组充分肯定了我中心此次在“白皮书”项目上做出的努力和取得的成绩，并对今后的研究方向给予了指导。
