To assess library service quality, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) Library conducted the Library User Survey 2022 in May.
The Library received 1, 011 valid responses and over half of the respondents (55%) provided written comments. The survey results show that 93.08% of the respondents are generally satisfied with Library services.

The Library has released the May 2022 Issue of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Essential Science Indicators (ESI) Research Performance Report, which provides information about XJTLU’s ESI rankings and performances, ESI Top 1% research fields, and ESI Top Papers. According to the latest ESI update on May 12th, 2022, XJTLU has retained its positions in the ESI Top 1% institutions in the fields of Engineering, Computer Science and Social Science, General, and has 52 ESI Top Papers in all fields.
Researcher Academy Learning Day, organised by XJTLU Library, was successfully held online on 25 May 2022.
There were 4 inspirational sessions respectively, sharing insights from premium journal editors and publishing professionals. Ms. Melissa Wagner (Vice President of Editorial, IGI Global), Ms. Marisa Ruccolo (Customer Success Architect, Clarivate), Dr. Huaiju Wang (Scientific Editor, Cell Press), and Ms. Chentong Hao (Author Services Presentative, Cambridge University Press) gathered to discuss different topics of scholarly communication, including academic publishing, open access, paper discoverability, journal selection, manuscript writing, and submission, etc. Over 150 researchers in and around XJTLU registered for the event and there were more than 80 members of the audience per session on average.

Researcher Academy @ XJTLU Library is a scholarly communication theme project by XJTLU Library. It aims to guide researchers, especially early-career researchers through different phases of the research cycle, from research preparation to publishing and disseminating research, introducing various research and scholarly communication topics. The next scholarly communication event will be held in October 2022. The Library looks forward to seeing you at our event.
A total of XJTLU 16 students entered the final of the incoPat Advanced Technology Retrieval Competition - "Future IP Expert" College Elite Competition, and they answered the questions in a unified manner from 20:00 to 21:00 on April 25, competing for the national championship, the national top ten and 50 excellent awards.
