XJTLU bookshop held a student activity “Readathon, make it happen” to celebrate world reading day. It requires participants to borrow the book from XJTLU Bookshop or take your own book to clock in for 21 successive days. This activity came to an end by the end of April, 2021. Priority was given to the total reading time if clocking in period is same. Prize and certificates have been awarded to excellent activity participants in May. This activity helps to create campus reading environment and enhance bookshop’s impact on reading promotion.
COVID-19 nucleic acid tests have been performed on the Textbooks and Textbook Service Center on 22 February, 2021. All the results are negative. Thus, Library offers desk copy collection to staff and textbook collection to students.
Staff could follow the precautionary health and safety measures to collect desk copy from 24 February to 26 March, 2021.
In accordance with XJTLU Students Return Arrangements, students can collect their textbooks from 26 February to 4 March, 2021 at the Textbook Service Center. Students should make sure XJTLU Pass Code is GREEN and follow the precautionary health and safety measures to collect textbooks on site. Students who MISSED the centralized distribution can collect textbooks at the Textbook Service Center during opening hours before WEEK 10 (7 May). For students, who have to study remotely due to COVID-19 pandemic can apply for textbook posting service before WEEK 4 (26 March).
