XJTLU Museum invites Professor Zhiyue BO, Director of XIPU Institution; Eddy S. FANG, Associate Professor, Head of ECO Division, International Business School Suzhou, XJTLU and Ms. Jenny YANG, Secretary General of Shanghai Chance Art Foundation to share about their creative thinking in aspects of learning & teaching, academic research and life experience with us on 18 April at X BAR.
Students supervised by Art Association were invited to perform a piano live named “Spring Blossoms” for XJTLU students and teachers on 20 April at X BAR.
Themed on “The Leading Museums”, the Second Season of XJTLU Museum Culture Lecture highlights gurus from renowned museums. Invited by the University, they share expertise and legacy of museums, which enables XJTLU staff and students to learn more about various museums, history and culture without leaving the campus, and deepens the bonds between the University and off-campus museums. XJTLU invited Mr. Chen Ruijin, Director of Suzhou Museum, over for the “KAI TAN LE” series events on 25 April in Museum. Through Mr. Chen’s representation of the unique charm of Suzhou Museum, the faculty and students from the world have learned more about the city’s historical and cultural legacy.
The fourth series of “W•E Talks” Event invited Brantly Womack, Professor of Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia; Roberto Donà, Professor of Practice, International Business School Suzhou at XJTLU and Dr. Don Prisno, Associate Professor of Public Health at XJTLU to share about their understanding of the world on 23 May at X Bar.
As a sino-foreign university, XJTLU invited Mr. Chen Zenglu, Director of the Department of Education of Shanghai Museum, over for the “KAI TAN LE” series events on 29 May. Through Mr. Chen’s representation of the unique charm of Shanghai Museum, the faculty and students from the world have learned more about the city’s historical and cultural legacy. Such creative and thoughtful events will also deepen the bonds between the university and the museum.
XJTLU co-organised exhibition with Industrial Design Department about Year 2 students’ interactive products which aim to help seniors with their exercise habits.
