Institutional Login on CARSI-Shibboleth Interface
Institutional login is the process of using your institution's authentication information to access a specific database.
CARSI-Shibboleth offers this method for universities and research institutes in China, supporting off-campus access of some databases and thus is NOT a major method for you.
Please follow the steps below to get user authentication via CARSI-Shibboleth:
Step 1 Click the icon of Discover, E-Journals, or the title of specific database from the Library homepage;
Step 2 Once XJTLU Authentication Centre interface pops out, Use your XJTLU username and password for login;
Step 3 Users can choose CARSI-Shibboleth to access the database if CARSI-Shibboleth is available:
Step 4 Checked "I accept the terms of use" and click on the Submit button,
Step 5 Select one option you prefer and then click “Accept”.
Then, all the operations are the same as on campus.
Fair Use of XJTLU Library Resources
As a member of XJTLU community, you should follow Fair Use of XJTLU Library’s Resources. Bulk downloading or systematic downloading are always prohibited. Additionally, make sure to keep your XJTLU account and password confidential. Your account will be closed and implemented investigation if any illegal use happened.
