E-Books

Everything you need to know about finding and using e-books in XJTLU Library.

Since some publishers are lifting restrictions on E-books for a limited time during the COVID-19 pandemic, XJTLU Library will add them to the list below as they become available. We hope access to some of these resources, particularly when most XJTLUers are off-campus at this period, will assist in some of your research needs. However, remember that access to these E-books is temporary.

The list below is an ongoing effort and will continue to grow as information become available from authoritative sources. Please check back for updates!

Publishers Providing Temporary Free Access

XJTLU Library provides permanent access to 20 E-book platforms with around 800,000 E-books in total. You may read and/download them at anytime as long as you are a member of the XJTLU community. Please click here to know more about these permanently accessible E-books.

De Gruyter provides around 75,000 free E-books, covering over 30 disciplines, through June 30, 2020. To persue the list of publishers, number of available titles and highlights from each Partner, please click here.

Elsevier provides 258 E-books, covering Natural Science, Engineering, Bioscience, Medicine, and Social Sciences, through June 30, 2020. You may see the title list by clicking here.

After you reach the detailed record page of each E-book, the one with   is accessible.

IEEE provides 4 E-books in the discipline of engineering and computer science through June 1, 2020. You may click the above link to download.

The 4 books are:

Springer provides 407 English E-books and 55 Germen E-books, covering multi-disciplines, through July 31, 2020. You may click here to view the list of all free E-books.
