XJTLU Library E-Discovery Week 2022: Home

E-resource exhibition booths are set up at the Library’s main entrance hall, showcasing some featured electronic resources within the Library’s collection. Learn more about the resources and take part in the E-Discovery Challenge by scanning QR code on activity poster with Learning Mall Online accounts and complete all the 10 questions about the resources with the assistance of hints provided. Challengers shall submit their completed quizzes for the E-Discovery Challenge Lucky Draw, higher score can raise your chance to win a prize.

1st Prize (1 person): Nintendo Switch + Ring Fit Adventure         
2rd Prize (2 persons): Starbucks gift card  (500RMB)
3nd Prize (10 persons): Starbucks gift card (100RMB)                         
Lucky Prize (30 persons): XJTLU Bear

The information experts from the Library will deliver consultation services with two main topics:  Search Tips for e-Resources and Citation Management. Participants can bring their own research topics, or consult experts about related questions.

The Library will arrange several e-resource training courses to introduce various e-resources and smart searching skills. Librarians and vendor representatives/training specialists will introduce the use of the designated resources and tips on smart searching. Participants will also have the opportunities for hands-on practice. You shall register online at Learning Mall Online or at the information desk of the event. After the E-Discovery Week, 10 participants will be randomly chosen to win an E-Discovery Week Lucky Bag. You may join any number of these workshops to maximize your chance to win a prize.

Prize winners of the above lucky draws will be randomly chosen at 10:00am on 22nd October 2022. The winner lists will be presented on the TV at the library main entrance hall. The Library will contact the winners by email.

During the E-Discovery Week, you are welcomed to share your feelings and opinions in the comments section. 5 messages will be chosen to win the XJTLU hoodies. Share the E-Discovery week WeChat message to your WeChat Moments and collect a nice gift at the information desk by showing it.
