HOW TO RESERVE A GROUP STUDY ROOM ONLINE

1. Group study rooms can be reserved online via the link given on the library homepage (https://lib.xjtlu.edu.cn). Click on the "Room Booking" icon and you will see a display of the Group Study Room Booking System homepage.

2. Input your XJTLU username and password.

3. Select the group study room number and you can view more details about a specific room. Use the calendar to select date and time you want to make the reservation on.

4. The “Reservation Policy” will be displayed after you choose the reservation time. Click the "Agree" button to continue.

5. Input your group members' names and select the specific time. Click the "Submit" button and the message “Your application has been submitted successfully.” will be displayed if the request is successful.

HOW TO VIEW OR CANCEL MY RESERVATION ONLINE

1. Login to the Group Study Room Booking System via https://roombookings.xjtlu.edu.cn using your XJTLU username and password.

2. Click "My bookings" and manage your reservations.

•      The rooms are open for booking by students and staff for discussion. Each person can only book a room once a day. Room is limited to a maximum of 3 hours for students and 6 hours for staff.

•      The specific opening hours and number of people for each room are as shown in the table below:

•      Room can be booked online up to 7 days in advance. Walk-in users also may book the room by using Reservation Machine located on the 1st floor on condition that the room is available.

•      A successful booking needs all team members’ ID card information so that any one of them can swipe his/her ID card to open the door.

•      Room 314, 316, 318, 545, 547, 714,814, 1014 at least 2 members should swipe the ID card to get into the room no later than 30 minutes after booking start time; Room 429, at least 6 members should swipe the ID card to get into the room no later than 30 minutes after booking start time; Room 445, at least 4 members should swipe the ID card to get into the room no later than 30 minutes after booking start time, or else it would be deemed to a default behavior.

•      Any change or cancellation should be altered before the booking start time, or else it would be deemed to a default behavior.

•      The default behavior would be blamed on the applicant. Up to 3 times, the booking system would suspend the applicant’s permission of booking a room in later 30 days.

•      1. Using the group study rooms should be abided by the relevant national laws and university regulations. Any non-learning and non-research activities are not allowed.

使用团队研讨室需遵守国家法律及学校有关规章制度,不得从事非学习、研究性质的活动。

•      2. Keep noise level to a minimum. Discussions are encouraged but one should not disturb other people outside of the room.

请将噪音控制在最低程度。我们提倡研讨室内的讨论行为,但这种行为不能打扰到研讨室外面的其他自习人员。

•      3. No eating or smoking will be permitted in the rooms.

研讨室内禁止食物和吸烟。

•      4. Do not leave any valuables in the room anytime when you are away from the room. The library is not responsible for loss or theft of personal property.

当你离开时,请不要将任何贵重物品放在研讨室。图书馆不负责个人财产的丢失或被盗窃。

•      5. If the room is damaged or vandalized prior to your group's use, please report it immediately to the Service Counter on the 3rd floor or you will be held responsible.

在使用团队研讨室之前若发现有物品被损坏,请及时告知三楼服务台,否则将被追究责任。

•      6. No items shall be taped or tacked on the walls or windows. Please do not damage equipment, facilities and move furniture in or out of the group study rooms. Keep the rooms in a neat and orderly condition.

墙上及窗户不允许粘贴固定任何东西,请勿损坏室内设施、设备,随意挪动家具进出。请保持房间整洁有序的状态。

•      7. Leave on time and take away all personal belongings. Please turn off the lights and close the door before leaving.

必须按使用时间准时离开,离开时需清理所有个人物品,随手关灯、关门。

•      8. Library, when necessary, can inform users to stop using group study rooms.

本馆在必要时可通知使用人暂停使用团队研讨室。

•      9. The other unmentioned regulations can reference to library policy. Anyone who violates these regulations would be prohibited to use the group study rooms.

本规则未尽事宜按图书馆相关规定办理。如有不遵守本规则相关规定之情形,将停止其使用权并请该读者离开。
