Library Facility Guide

Welcome to the XJTLU Library. This guide will make your use of Library facility as smooth as possible.

Location

The E-lockers on Floor 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 are available for students to store items by scanning their University ID cards.

 

Safety Tips

  • The lockers are for use by the Library patrons. Patrons may use the lockers during library opening hours, from 8 am to 10 pm (weekdays) and from 9 am to 10 pm (weekends) ONLY.
  • Patrons MUST NOT leave their personal property and valuables in the locker(s) overnight. Lockers will be checked and cleared up to the 3rd Floor Library Service Counter after 10 pm daily by Library Staff.
  • XJTLU Library shall not be liable for any loss or damage to any personal property and valuables left in the locker (s).
  • Any Library collections (Book/CD etc.) left in the locker (s) after library closing hour will be returned from students' library account.

      We seek your kind co-operation in observing the above stated rules and consideration for other library users.

Guidelines for E-Locker

  1. Lockers are only for library users at XJTLU for temporarily storage personal belongings, for safety concern, please DO NOT leave your Valuables here, e.g. Laptops, IPads , phones etc.!

  2. The lockers of the school library can only be used once for each usage. The readers are advised to remove all their belongings once they reopen the locker.

  3. Any personal items left in the Library Electrical Locker after closing hours will be taken to the 3rd floor Library Service Counter each day without notification. Librarians shall neither be responsible for the safekeeping of any item found in the locker nor be liable for any loss or damage in connection therewith.

  4. If the student reserves an Electronic Locker 4 nights of 7 days, he/she will be given a verbal warning; if the student reserves an Electronic Storage 5 nights of 7 days, the library reserves the right to inform the Student Affairs Office.

  5. Scan your XJTLU ID card to store and retrieve personal belongings;

  6. Users should not deface the lockers, such as putting up stickers, painting or making marks; Users should keep their lockers clean and tidy inside and outside;

  7. Users are required to report the damage to librarians immediately and pay for the repair if the damage is caused by him/her.

  8. The library reserves the right to update the regulation items without prior notification.
