XJTLU Library Committees

1. To formulate, review and make recommendations to the library management on policies relating to collection development and management strategic plan
2. To monitor changes in academic programmes and research areas of the University, ensure that library collections are supportive of the changing learning, teaching and research needs
3. To formulate a comprehensive system/workflow to evaluate library resources and collections
4. To review the collection development process and collection withdraw process on a regular basis and make recommendations for necessary changes
5. To propose and advise acquisitions of expensive item as required by the University’s auditing, accrediting system

The Library Collection Development Committee shall meet on at least two occasions in each semester and meetings should be timed ensure appropriate Library resources subscription schedule.
