Discovery Studio Visulaizer and ActiveX Control 3.5 is a free commercial-grade graphics visualization tool for viewing, sharing, and analyzing protein and modeling data. Complete a form to receive the free DS Visualizer and ActiveX Control for interactive 3D visualization.

Chemical Drawing Software

ChemSketch is a free software similar to ChemDraw and contains other functions such as making chemical movies (above).

Other free drawing softwares include:

  • MarvinSketch: Easy chemical structure, query and reaction drawing
  • ChemFormula: ChemFormula is a macro that works in Microsoft Word for Windows. It allows you to type chemical formula expressions without worrying about formatting. The following table shows some examples of what ChemFormula does.
